Our Story

God is in the business of weaving the lives of diverse people together by the gospel of Jesus and for the sake of making that gospel famous.  This is our story.  Frontier began as a group of friends in Louisville, Kentucky who were making disciples together and who began to wonder if the Holy Spirit was leading them to start a new church.  This group of friends began to learn about church planting through books, mentoring, and assessment from a local church and church planting organizations.  Through a sequence of events and connections, God began to give the team a heart for the city of Morgantown, and they began making the necessary plans to move here.  The first team members began arriving in Morgantown in July and August of 2011 and functioning as a small community on mission.  That community is Frontier.  Our friendships are growing as the gospel adds to our numbers, and the story of the Frontier family has only begun as God continues to shape us.
