Frontier Communities

The hope of Jesus draws us into the community of people who are journeying with Jesus.  Frontier Communities are an opportunity to grow together in the transformative power of the gospel in ways we never could grow.

Frontier is “a church of communities,” which means the emphasis of our church is on the life in our Frontier Communities, not primarily on a larger gathering.  We believe that real transformation by the message of Jesus occurs most readily through personal interaction in small groups, so we are seeking to be a church of small groups that then gathers together to celebrate the work of God among us.  In these communities, we are learning to be the church to one another and to the city, we study and apply the Bible, care for each other, pray for each other, share with one another, and serve the city together.

Frontier Communities are diverse communities of adults and children that celebrate, suffer, study, eat, listen, recreate, and serve together. They meet in various places throughout the week in various neighborhoods.

Take the Next Step

At this beginning stage, we only have one functioning Frontier Community.  We hope and pray for more to come as we grow and multiply disciples and groups.  We are eager to see a movement of gospel-transformed disciples in this city and region.  You should join us!  The group currently meets on Tuesday nights at 5:00 PM in Morgantown.  Contact us for more information and to get involved!
